The Vocational Study Year is perfect if you want to improve your English skills and learn about another subject at the same time. There are more than 20 study subjects for you to choose from, at three levels, including Art & Design, Hospitality & Catering, Media Studies, Business Studies, Music, and many others. The programme also enables you to prepare for English language exams, which are a great way to monitor your progress.
More Than A Language School
The Vocational Study Year is a comprehensive language course, but it’s also so much more than that! Alongside English classes were you will practice speaking, listening, reading, writing, and more, you will also take vocational study and cross college enrichment activities. These are a great way to learn new skills and diversify your interests!
The Student Union runs a variety of clubs and societies, from sports teams to debating teams or the Journalists Club. As a student at Chichester College, you will also have access to our on-site gym and all the very latest equipment to train, or take part in classes such as Zumba, Yoga and Spinning.

Here at Chichester College, you will learn alongside British students and get many opportunities to practice your skills. Our Student Union organises a range of activities for all to take part in, make new friends, and share ideas.

Our class size never exceeds 16 students to ensure you get individual attention from your tutors. Along with grammar, speaking, reading and writing, you will practice listening, vocabulary and pronunciation. You can choose an afternoon option class to focus on the exam you are preparing for, Business English or further skills development.
